A few years ago, I made the New Year’s resolution to learn how to use chopsticks — and I succeeded at this incredibly minor task. The year after that, I set a resolution to learn how to shuffle cards, and… I haven’t quite mastered that, but I’m much better at it. This year, I think I will resolve to run a 5K — not impossible but something I’ve never done.
